CORELESS AC INDUCTION MOTOR

PURPOSE: A coreless AC induction motor is provided to achieve improved rotation characteristics with high power output and high accuracy by employing a coreless rotor made up of an aluminum or copper conductive rod so as to decrease inertia of the rotor. CONSTITUTION: A coreless AC induction motor comprises a coreless rotor(11), a rotation shaft(12) coupled to rotate the coreless rotor, a steel rod(13) inserted into the coreless rotor so as to induce a revolving magnetic field; a steel shaft(14) coupled to the steel rod; and a stator(15) positioned at the outer periphery of the coreless rotor which is made up of a material having a high conductivity such as copper or aluminum. The coreless rotor includes a squirrel cage conductive rod having a plurality of slots formed in the lengthwise direction, and a composite material or polymer resin which fills the slots so as to reinforce the stiffness of the squirrel cage conductive rod. The composite material or polymer resin filling the slots contains powder with a high permeability.
