PURPOSE: An amplifying device for controlling gain level and a method for controlling gain level are provided to control the gain level about amplification of the communication signal easily by connecting resistance among many amplifying portions selectively in tuning for controlling the gain. CONSTITUTION: In an amplifying device for controlling gain level and a method for controlling gain level, amplifying portions(4, 6, 8), an output unit(10), a board and resistance(R1, R2, R3) are included. Many amplifying portions(4, 6, 8) and chips of the output unit(10) are arranged in series on the board(2) to amplify the communication signal in order. The resistance(R1) is installed between the amplifying portion(4) and the amplifying portion(6) for controlling the gain level. The resistance(R2) is installed between the amplifying portion(6) and the amplifying portion(8) and the resistance(R3) is installed between the amplifying portion(8) and the output unit(10).
