PURPOSE: A device for transmitting welding wire is provided to improve the speed for transmitting by transmitting the welding wire with using a lower drum gear and an upper drum gear connected in gear with each other. CONSTITUTION: The device for transmitting welding wire includes a transmitter for transmitting the welding wire wound on the wire roll to a welding torch. The transmitter includes a lower drum gear(212), an upper drum gear(222) and a pressing portion. The lower drum gear(212) is rotated by the driving source. The upper drum gear(222) is rotated by being supported by the bearings. The pressing portion(220) connects two drum gears in gear with the welding wire between two drum gears. A gear controlling tool(225) is composed of a control bolt(225a) and a spring(225b). The rotary axis for transmitting the dynamic power to the lower drum gear(212) is made of the insulating materials.
