PURPOSE: A device for feeding welding wire is provided to improve the speed of feeding by that the lower wheels and upper wheels are pressed and to improve convenience of moving by making light weight and miniature possible. CONSTITUTION: The device for feeding welding wire includes a wire spool(10), a feeder(20) and a fixed board(30). The welding wire(11) is wound on the wire spool(10). The feeder(20) feeds the welding wire(11) through a nozzle(21). The fixed board(30) supports the wire spool(10) and the feeder(20). The feeder(20) is composed of a driving gear(23), a pair of lower gearing wheels(24a, 24b) and a pair of upper gearing wheels(25a, 25b). The driving gear(23) is rotated by the driving source. The lower gearing wheels(24a, 24b) are rotated by the rotary power transmitted through the gears(28a, 28b). The lower gearing wheels(24a, 24b) and the upper gearing wheels(25a, 25b) are pressed. A pressing power control tool(26) controls the pressing power of the lower gearing wheels(24a, 24b) and the upper gearing wheels(25a, 25b). A wire incoming tool(27) is formed for making abrasion by an inner wall to minimum.
