PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tie-rod attaching structure enabling simplification of the locking structure of a tie-rod attaching portion, a reduction in cost of fabrication, and enhancement of the degree of freedom for layout. SOLUTION: Both arms 8b of a T-shaped connecting member 8 are connected to a rack shaft 4 by bolts 9 and 9 passing through a guide shoe 7 sliding within a cut groove 6, and a pair of right and left tie rods 5 and 5 have their respective inner ends rendered responsive to the horizontal movement of the rack shaft 4 by the guide shoe 7. A first lock washer 30 is interposed between portions where the inner ends of the pair of right and left tie rods 5 are freely swingably connected to the legs 8a of the T-shaped connecting member 8 via ball joints 12. A second lock washer 35 is interposed between portions where both arms 8b of the T-shaped connecting member 8 are connected to the rack shaft 4 by the bolts 9. The projection 35a of the second lock washer 35 can abut the leg 8a of the T-shaped connecting member 8. |
