PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an improved new mineral plate capable of improving durability and water resistance of a surface. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the mineral plate by a wet papermaking molding from an aqueous slurry containing a cement composition comprises the steps of scattering a water emulsion of a hot melt curable resin or a powder slurry 2 dispersed in water on a papermaking sheet 1, then molding it by a dehydrating press 3, then curing and hardening it.
