PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic sheet production process which, even when a paper sheet 1 is conveyed to a press machine 6 in a dehydration or forming stage while maintaining a >=60 wt.% or preferably >=80 wt.% high water content of the paper sheet 1, enables inhibition of sticking of the paper sheet 1 to a plate 4 placed between adjacent two of conveyors 2, prevention of deformation such as distortion or bulging of the paper sheet 1 from being caused and thereby improvement in formability and property with respect to decorative design of the paper sheet 1. SOLUTION: This production process comprises subjecting an aqueous slurry raw material consisting essentially of cement and an inorganic filler to papermaking, dehydration/forming and curing, wherein: as the inorganic filler, at least one filler which is selected from slag wool, wollastonite and mica and has 200-1,000μm length, is mixed into a base stock of the raw material in a 2-10 wt.% ratio of the filler to the total solid content of the raw material containing the filler, cement, etc.
