PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cone beam X-ray CT system for obtaining a clear X-ray CT image with uniform image quality of respective slice images and homogeneous and clear whole image. SOLUTION: When irradiating a cone beam CB from an X-ray tube 1, an X-ray passed through subject M is detected by a surface X-ray sensor 2, an X-ray detecting signal (cone beam data) corresponding to respective slice surfaces is obtained, and detecting signals of the respective slice surfaces are read out in order from the cone beam data to be imparted to a convolution part 17 via a preprocessing part 16 of a reconstituting operation device 15. A filter function for removing a blur contributing component corresponding to the size of an effective focus of the X-ray tube in respective slice positions with respective slices is imparted to the convolution part 17 in synchronism with successive readout of the detecting signals of the respective slice surfaces of the cone beam data from a filter function generating part 19. The convolution part 17 supplies corrective projection data to a back projection part 18 by performing convolution processing of detecting data of the respective slice surfaces and the filter function corresponding to the slice surfaces.
