发明名称 ELECTROLUMINESCENCE DISPLAY DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE: An electroluminescence display device is provided to improve the luminous efficiency by minimizing the intensity of radiation which is not used to display. CONSTITUTION: The electroluminescence display device comprises an opaque substrate(10) made of ceramic or aluminum, a fluorescent layer(12) formed over the substrate, and two electrodes(14.16) formed on both sides of the fluorescent layer. The electrode near the substrate is composed of the alloy of silver and platinum and the metal, and the other electrode is made of indium tin oxide to maintain the transparency. The first insulating layer is formed between the substrate and the fluorescent layer and its thickness is about 20 micro-meter. The second insulating layer is formed between the fluorescent layer and the transparent electrode and its thickness is below 0.5 micro-meter. A thin film insulating layer is formed between the first insulating layer and the fluorescent layer to maintain the flatness of the first insulating layer. The thin film insulating layer is composed of lead zirconate titanate or lead lanthanum zirconate titanate. The alternative voltage is supplied to the metal electrode and the transparent electrode to radiating the fluorescent layer. The total reflection decreasing unit decreases the intensity of radiation at the boundary layer of the fluorescent layer and the insulating layer. The reflection unit reflects the light which radiates to the backward direction of the display device.
