PURPOSE: A system for on-line development of digital pictures and images and a method for service the same are provided to enable a client to receive a digital picture all the time everywhere through a homepage on internet by receiving a digital picture and an image through internet and developing a real picture through a digital picture developer and delivering it to the client. CONSTITUTION: A client information recognition process level recognizes at an operator's web server(30) whether the client has ever developed a digital picture through an on-line developing laboratory in case the client visits the digital picture on-line developing laboratory. An on-line estimate supply level uploads the client's digital picture and image to develop on an on-line order page and receives the picture development, and supplies with an on-line estimate in real time in case type and amount of the received digital picture are inputted. A control computer(38) controls a digital picture developer(39) and inquires a database of the server to develop the digital picture.
