摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material having a small scum deposition amount to be deposited on a thermal head of a thermal printer and not generating printing fault even by resultantly printing at a long distance. SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material comprising a thermal recording layer containing an electron donative normally colorless or pale dye precursor and an electron acceptive compound for reacting with the precursor when heated to color develop the precursor on a support, the recording layer contains at least one type of a compound represented by formula 1 as the electron acceptive compound and a 1,2-bis(phenoxymethyl)benzene or at least one type of an oxalic acid compound represented by formula 3 of a specific weight ratio to the acceptive compound as a heat fusible compound. As the acceptive compound, a 2,4-bis(phenylsulfonyl)phenol is used.
