<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the rolling velocity to the required velocity in a short time when a rolling equipment nips a front end of a stock. SOLUTION: A fixed rate velocity control of a second driving motor 22 is performed based on the prescribed first velocity standard during the period from the time when front end of the stock 10 is nipped by a second rolling equipment 18 up to the time when the amount of impact drop reaches the maximum. And after the amount of impact drop reaches the maximum, the velocity control of the second velocity standard which various so as to keep the torque command to the driving motor 22 fixed.</p> |
