PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock mechanism for shutter capable of putting a curtain into a lock condition to prevent its rise even if an attempt to lift the curtain from below is made while the curtain is lowered and closed. SOLUTION: In this shutter having a grille part constituted by connecting a pair of upper and lower horizontal rods 9A, 9B mutually by a link 11A, a lock claw 15 positioned in a guide rail 7 is pivotally supported on the lower horizontal rod 9B. A locking part 19 is provided on a guide rail 7 side correspondingly to the lock claw 15. At least either of connection holes 13 of the link 11A connecting the lower horizontal rod 9B supporting the lock claw 15 with the upper horizontal rod 9A is formed into a long hole 13a. A guide face 17 tilting the lock claw 15 onto a locking part 19 side when an interval between the upper and lower horizontal rods 9A and 9B becomes narrow is formed on the lock claw 15. A guide piece 23 which makes the lock claw 15 leave the locking part 19 when the interval between the upper and lower horizontal rods 9A and 9B is expanded is provided over the link 11A and the lock claw 15.
