PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve exchangeability of a sheet conveying roller (rotor) in a digital copying machine, and to prevent a bad effect from being given to the sheet conveying roller or a sheet conveying roller support member due to pressure of the sheet conveying roller in the shaft core direction. SOLUTION: A driven roller (rotor) 1 abutting on the peripheral surface of a driving roller (rotor) and rotating has bearing recessed parts 4 with a predetermined depth in the center of a spot facing recessed part 4a. A pair of oppositing support members 2, 2 are fixed to a part mounted with the driven roller 1, and coil-like elastic members 3, 3 are respectively tightly mounted to their tips. For mounting the driven roller 1 between the support members 2, 2 as shown in Fig. 3 (E), the driven roller 1 is pressed onto the elastic members 3, 3 from the state in Fig. 3 (A) to the states in Fig. 3 (B)(C), the elastic members 3, 3 are bent and simultaneously its tip is engaged with the recessed parts 4, 4 of the driven roller 1 as shown in Fig. 3 (D).
