PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ribbon cassette wherein a friction resistance at the time when the ink ribbon is drawn from a ribbon drawing hole is made small so that a drawing torque with respect to a winding core is made small, thereby preventing the ink face from being damaged. SOLUTION: A rotatable guide roller 9 is provided in a portion to which the ink ribbon 2 is contacted at the ribbon drawing hole 3C formed on a body 3 of the ink ribbon cassette. As a result, it is possible to reduce a rotational torque of the winding core 5 at a time when the ink ribbon 2 is drawn from the ribbon drawing hole 3c so that a volume of a motor in a printer can be reduced.
