PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding method of a welding wire by which the generation of arc break and failure in arc start are prevented. SOLUTION: Between a pail pack 3 and a welding torch 7 which constitute a welding device 1 for carrying out welding by pulling the welding wire W out of the pail pack 3 and feeding the wire to the tip of the welding torch 7, a welding-wire bending device 5 for contineously imparting bending inclination so as to continuously bend the wire W in one direction of the welding wire W is provided. On the welding-wire bending device 5, a front guide mechanism 11, a winding roller 9 and a rear guide mechanism 13 are provided. The welding wire W sent from the front guide mechanism 11 is fed to the welding torch 7 with the rear guide mechanism 13 after winding the wire one or more turns around the outer peripheral surface of the winding roller 9.
