PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To punch also a sub-punching part whose one part is not punched by one punching device by one process of work continuously with a main punching part, in a punching device for punching a work by a die reciprocated by a crank mechanism. SOLUTION: The driving part of the crank mechanism is capable of performing reciprocal driving and provided with a drive control means controlling reciprocal driving and stopping of the driving part. The drive control means is provided with a reverse drive restoring means for executing the reverse drive restoring motion so that the die is returned to the original position in the nonpunching state at the position apart from the top dead center position or the position comming off from that position by a prescribed angle, after stopping the punching motion by the crank mechanism at the previous point of reaching the bottom dead center position of the crank mechanism.
