PURPOSE: A wired and wireless multimedia integrated extrinsic service method using a communication server is provided to integrate and manage wired and wireless multimedia, provided from a communication service company, in accordance with users' characteristics using a communication server in a communication system. CONSTITUTION: If Internet information is received from an Internet network or an Intranet network or a call is received from a CDMA mobile communication network or a PSTN(201), a communication server analyzes the source of received information or the received call(202). In case that Internet information was received, the communication server notifies a mobile station or a terminal of it(203). If the call was received, the communication server confirms whether the current mode is an automatic answering mode or a call forwarding mode(204). In case that the automatic answering mode has been set up, the communication server sends a voice information message to the caller and records the caller's voice message(205). Then the communication server informs the mobile station that the voice message has been received(206). If the call forwarding mode has been set up, the communication server transfers the call to the mobile station(207) so that voice conversation with the caller can be achieved through the mobile station(208,209). |
