PURPOSE: A multi-sector base station apparatus of a communication system is provided to implement multi-sector base station of above 6 sectors in volume of BCP(BTS Control Processor) and CCP(Call Control Processor), thereby reducing interference with other base station. CONSTITUTION: The first to the N antennae(Ant1-AntN) are installed in each cell region instead of base stations. The first through the N optical/RF converters(10-1 - 10-N) are installed in each cell region instead of base stations together with the first through the N antennae and change the RF signal processed by the first through the Nth antennae into light signal. The first through the Nth optical cables(20-1 - 20-N) transmits and receives the light signal converted from the first thorugh the N optical/RF converters. The first through the Nth RF/optical converters(30-1 - 30-N) are installed in multi-sector base station positioned in a certain constant region and change light signal transmitted and received to/from the first through the N optical cable into an RF signal. The first to the N RF input/output terminals(40-1 - 40-N) transmit and receive the RF signal transmitted from the first through the N RF/optical converters as sector 1 to sector N. Therefore, a cell region is formed by each sector of multi sector base station.
