PURPOSE: A rice tank maintains the temperature therein lower than a set value to prevent propagation of rice weevils. CONSTITUTION: A rice tank comprises a temperature sensor(110), a temperature setting part, a control part and a compressor driving part. The control part receives signals from the temperature sensor(110) and the temperature setting part to generate control signal. The compressor driving part drives a compressor(120) by the control signal of the control part. Refrigerant flowing through a refrigerant pipe(100) exchange heat with a rice storage to cool down rice to the temperature lower than a set value to prevent rice weevils from hatching.
