PURPOSE: A polarizing plate supporting holder for a LCD projector is provided to enhance a cooling efficiency with respect to a polarizing plate. CONSTITUTION: A main body(401) has a penetration hole(401h) for receiving an outputting light from an optical lens of a LCD polarizing plate(410) at the central portion thereof. An upper fixing unit(402u) and a lower fixing unit(402d) are provided at four corners of the main body(401) for fixing the main body(401) to a penetration case. Polarizing plate receiving units(407a-407c) are provided at peripheral portion of the penetration hole(401h) for receiving the LCD polarizing plate(410) on the penetration hole(401h). Polarizing plate supporting protrusions(403a-403f) and polarizing plate fixing protrusions(404a-404c) are provided at peripheral portion of the penetration hole(401h) for supporting and fixing the LCD polarizing plate(410). An air ventilation guiding unit(405) is provided at one side of the main body(401) for introducing an air into the inner space of the main body(401) and partially preventing an outflow of the introduced air. An air outflow prevention unit(406) is provided at the other side of the main body(401) for preventing an outflow of the air introduced in the main body(401). The air ventilation guiding unit(405) is slantly formed for smoothly operating an air inflow and outflow simultaneously.
