PURPOSE: A solenoid valve for intercepting refrigerants is provided to absorb impulsive sounds caused by the contact between a fixed steel core and a plunger and to reduce contact noises among the plunger, the fixed steel core and a plunger guide caused by the vibrations of the plunger contacting with the fixed steel core if a solenoid valve is for alternating currents. CONSTITUTION: In a solenoid valve for intercepting refrigerants composed by locating a looped shock-absorbing member(20) made of elastic materials such as rubber around a spring between a fixed steel core(40) and a plunger, if power is supplied to a solenoid coil, a plunger(60-a) is driven from a closing location and raised to an opening location and the shock-absorbing member located on the upper part of the plunger touches to the fixed steel core first to absorb shocks between the plunger and the fixed steel core primarily and to absorb impulsive sounds.
