PURPOSE: A method of servicing two cells in one base station is provided to prevent the squandering of the base station's resources, thereby operating the network more efficiently in cellular communication system. CONSTITUTION: In a process, a separate FA to a conventional operation FA is increased in the first channel(GROW-CDMA-CH)(203), only data relating to the increased FA is transmitted and a service is not performed. In addition, a process is to perform the service by making the corresponding FA active in the second channel(ACT-CDMA-CH). Two cells are simultaneously serviced in the same base station by using the separate operation frequency bandwidth information (CDMA_CHANNEL_LIST) transformed and being written in the increase of FA. In order to maintain the continuity of the service, a state management block checks periodically the state of the subcell, transmits to a shape management block and updates the library(in steps of 201 and 202). Also, the shape management block checks periodically the state library and attempts again from the check routine of an initial state when receiving information on the subcell state from the state management block(in steps of 211-213).
