PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite magnetic member composed of a single material and having both ferromagnetic part and weak magnetic part, which has proof stress higher than that of the conventional member. SOLUTION: The composite magnetic member with high proof stress is composed of an alloy steel having a composition consisting of, by mass, 0.30-0.80% C, 10.0-25.0% Cr, >0-5.0%, independently or in total, of one or more elements among Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Mo, W, Co, Cu and B, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. This member has a ferromagnetic part mainly composed of (ferrite + carbide) structure and having >=200 maximum permeability and >=400 MPa 0.2% proof stress and a weak magnetic part mainly composed of austenitic structure and having <=50 maximum permeability and >=300 MPa 0.2% proof stress. |
