PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based metallic ink composition good in dispersion properties and viscosity stability without a reaction of aluminum powder, generating no spoilage caused by bacteria and fungi and excellent in preservation stability for a long time. SOLUTION: This water-based metallic ink composition contains aluminum powder and water as essential components, and an N-vinylacetamide-based resin as a thickener. The composition contains 2-15 wt.% of the aluminum powder, 1-20 wt.% of the N-vinylacetamide-based resin and further, 0.05-15 wt.% of a coloring agent. |
