PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film for laminating a metal panel excellent in mechanical characteristics or heat resistance, capable of being bonded to a metal panel under heating and pressure at low temperature and adapted to the manufacturing of a laminated metal panel excellent in scratch resistance, processability and moldability and also excellent in impact resistance after the retort treatment of a can. SOLUTION: A polyester film for laminating a metal panel is a composite- layered film constituted of (A) polyethylene terephthalate, (B) polybutylene terephthalate and (C) a crystalline resin with a melting point of 140-200 deg.C or an amorphous resin with a glass transition temperature of 80-180 deg.C and the resin compositions of the first and second layers of the film satisfy conditions(1) WA1/WB1=60/40-10/90, (2) WC1=1-15, and (3) WA1+WB1+WC1=100 in the first layer, and (4) WA2/WB2 = 100/0-50/50, (5) WC2<=5, and (6) WA2+WB2+ WC2=100 in the second layer, wherein WA, WB and WC show weight ratios (parts by weight) of the resins A, B, C. |
