PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefinic, biaxially stretched, heat shrinkable film excellent in stretching stability, uniformity of thickness, transparency, seal- cutting properties and heat shrinkable properties, reduced in offensive odors when sealed or incinerated and suitable for an L type half-folding seal packaging. SOLUTION: The biaxially stretched, heat shrinkable film comprises a sheet, made of a polyolefinic resin comprising at least 85 wt.% of an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer resin having a melt flow index at 190 deg.C of 2.0 g/10 min or less, having the both sides or one side thereof subjected to irradiation with an electron beam to effect crosslinking so that it has a gel fraction of 5 wt.% or less.
