PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tap from coming off under its own weight by making sufficient frictional force and holding power act on a mounting part of the tap which is simply inserted into a square socket, to prevent damage to the tap and an accident during work and to increase working efficiency of tapping. SOLUTION: This tap handle comprises a main body 2 composed of integrally formed long arms 2c respectively provided, in a direction orthogonal to the direction of the square socket 2a, at both sides of a central part 2b formed with the square socket 2a into which the tap 4 is inserted, and a plate spring 3, attached to the central part 2b of the main body 2, for making frictional force, which does not cause the tap 4 inserted into the square socket 2a to come off under its own weight, act on four surfaces 4b of the mounting part 4a of the tap 4.
