METHOD FOR ADDING Bi INTO MOLTEN STEEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Bi adding method into molten steel, with which Bi useful as a sub-inhibitor in an oriented electromagnetic steel can uniformly be dispersed into the steel with high yield without variation of an inhibitor component. SOLUTION: In the adding method into the molten steel, Bi grain having 0.5-5 mm grain diameter is added into the molten steel stream during shifting onto the molten steel surface in the tundish after coming out from a ladle.
