PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of drawing which prevents the body and opening of a work piece from being deformed by reduced pressure inside the work piece and a punch from breaking down, in pulling the punch out of the drawn work piece. SOLUTION: A plate-shaped or bottomed cylindrical blank in drawn by a punch 2 and dies 1 to form a bottomed cylinder (work W) having a prescribed shape, the work W is moved in the outer side direction of the dies 1 together with the punch 2, and in order to remove the punch 2 inside the work W, a pressurized gas of 90-600 KPa is supplied into the work W.
