PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device for a reduction roll which can easily give uniform cross grinding marks free from grinding irregularity to the roll peripheral surface. SOLUTION: A discal grinding wheel having a slanted grinding wheel revolving spindle is touchably provided on the two points of the roll peripheral surface of the reduction roll, respectively.
