PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen washing device for a screw press capable of efficiently washing the screen and stably dehydrating sludge for a long time. SOLUTION: In a screen 3 washing device for the screw press 1 in which a screw 2 is arranged inside the cylindrical screen 3, and filtrate is discharged outside the screen 3 to be dehydrated, while the sludge injected into the screen 3 is pressed by a back pressure plate 5 provided on the tip of the screw 2, washing nozzles 42 arranged in such a manner that the revolving direction of the screen 3 is divided into plural numbers and is partitioned, and also washing water is injected toward the screen face on respective divided partitioned positions, are rocked in the revolving direction of the screen 3 at least in a range of the divided section of the revolution of the screen 3, to wash the screen 3.
