PURPOSE: A rotary engine is provided having a low vibration, a low noise, and exhaust pollution by reducing weight and volume. CONSTITUTION: A space of a housing(2) in a rotor(1) is elliptical. A power shaft(4) is supported at a center hole of a side housing(3, 3'). The rotor(1) is fixed in the upper and lower side of the housing(2). An air compression chamber(5) and a combustion chamber(5') are formed at both side of the housing(2). An air flowing hole(6) is formed obliquely at the upper side of the housing(2). A gas seal(7) contacts with the rotor(1). A compression air chamber(10) communicating with the air flowing hole(6) and an air guiding chamber(11) communicating with an air discharging hole(8) are formed. A separation wall(12) is opened/closed by a check valve(13). |
