PURPOSE: Disclosed is an apparatus for treating wastewater using advanced oxidation process, which is characterized by using UV (ultraviolet ray) and ozone for providing high treatment efficiency compared with conventional treatment using advanced oxidation process. Generally advanced oxidation process using only ozone needs long time for reaction of organics and ozone. Therefore, the present apparatus has two UV generators (17)(18) for decomposing ozone into OH radical having high oxidation ability. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus consists of a pretreatment tank (10) where a first reaction tank and a second reaction tank (12)(14) are equipped with UV generators (17)(18) respectively therein; a post-treatment tank (20) where an activated carbon filter for deodorizing/decolorizing wastewater is installed; and an ozone supply tank (30) having an ozone generator (31).
