PURPOSE: A metal mold manufacturing method uses LIGA(Lithographie, Galvanofomung, Abfomung in German) process to manufacture more accurate multi-core optical connector metal mold in more inexpensive cost. CONSTITUTION: A first step is to place a first mask on a photosensitive layer on a base plate and radiate light to the first mask to primarily expose the photosensitive layer to the light. A second step is to develop the photosensitive layer to form a first exposed area including a first groove formed perpendicularly to the photosensitive layer and having form corresponding with multiple lineup grooves. A third step is to place a second mask on the first mask, rotate the first and the second masks by a certain angle to a horizontal plane and to radiate light to the second mask to secondarily expose the photosensitive layer to the light. The fourth step is to develop the photosensitive layer to form a second exposed area including a second groove including a connecting part connected slopingly with the first groove and having form corresponding with a guide groove. The fifth step is to pack metal in the first and the second exposed areas and grow by electroforming process to form multi-core optical connector metal mold.
