PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive copying paper, reduced in scumming due to faulty color development upon working and the like or scumming to be generated in accompanied by printing while prominent in a color development density. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive copying paper, utilizing the color development reaction of an electron donor type colorless dye and an electron acceptor type color developing agent, is characterized in a constitution that an intermediate layer, having the principal constituents of an inorganic pigment, having no color developing capacity substantially, and a binder, is provided on at least one side of a substrate in the dry weight of 0.1-7.0 g/m2 while a color developing layer, which contains micro-capsules, into which a high boiling point organic solvent is sealed, and whose coating amount is 0.3-2.0 g/m2, is provided on one side of the substrate or the surface provided with the intermediate layer. |
