PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigid scope system enabling an operator to observe an image of the rigid scope as well as an image around the distal end of the rigid scope without deteriorating the working efficiency during a surgical operation. SOLUTION: This rigid scope system comprises a rigid scope 4 having an insertion part 5 to be inserted into the body cavity and an objective lens 17 for observation in the oblique direction of the insertion part 5, a TV camera 9 for taking images observed through the objective lens 17 of the hard mirror 4, and a monitor 16 for displaying the images taken by the TV camera 9. In addition, the system also has an objective lens 25 attached to the rigid scope for guiding the light of an image around the distal end of the insertion part 5 and a TV camera 12 for taking images observed through the objective lens 25, and the images observed through the objective lens 25 taken by the TV camera 12 are displayed on the monitor 16. |
