PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submerged pump device capable of being rotated surely in forward direction even if a wiring is made without confirming the rotating direction of an electric motor at the time of installation and automatically remove foreign matter when the pump is locked. SOLUTION: In this submerged pump device, a bridge circuit capable of switching a power phase is mounted on a control part so as to judge and connect the power phase forming the maximum current value and, when an almost the same current as a start current flows at the time of normal operation, the electric motor can be operated alternately by the bridge circuit.
