APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING ELEVATIONS OF BRUSH ROLLS AND BRUSH BACKUP ROLLS IN SCRUBBER TANK

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling elevations of brush rolls and brush backup rolls in a scrubber tank is provided to obtain optimized defatting effects of a strip by automatically controlling the elevations of the brush rolls and the brush backup rolls each of which form a group as a pair of each rolls depending on the shape of the strip. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for controlling elevations of brush rolls and brush backup rolls in scrubber tank comprises a detecting part (10) equipped with a sensor (5a) for measuring the shape of a strip and a sensor (5b) for detecting a transferring speed of the strip installed at the front side of the brush rolls (200) for transmitting electrical signals; an elevation control part equipped with a cylinder, a rack gear and cam gears for vertically changing the position of bearing blocks on which the brush rolls (200) and the brush backup rolls (300) are rotationally mounted; and a control part (50) outputting signals for constantly maintaining gaps between the strip and the brush rolls (200) and gaps between the strip and the brush backup rolls (300) to the elevation control part by simultaneously ascending or descending the brush rolls (200) and the brush backup rolls (300) each of which form a group as a pair of each rolls depending on the signals from the detecting part (10).
