PURPOSE: A signature certification method is provided to install a characteristics extraction, coding and decoding algorithm and a mouse pattern recognition program at a server so that it can implement an online dynamic signature certification and enhance a security level without high priced systems. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of extracting a user signature data, and certifying a mouse pattern. In the user signature data extraction step, samples are extracted via a characteristics extraction process and processed into basic checking data. The user signature data extraction step includes a preprocessing, a characteristics extraction, a classification, a process, and a post process. In the mouse pattern certification step, the data necessary for certification is extracted instantly after a signature is input, the extracted data is compared with the sampled data and the certification result is output based on the comparison result. The mouse pattern certification step includes a preprocessing, a characteristics extraction, a classification, a process, and a certification.
