PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for observing a living creature kept in an observation tank and measuring sound generated from the creature, which can arouse children interests in learning in the nature. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a lower body(13) and the cover(11) where a magnifier(12) and a plurality of breathing holes(14) are formed for holding living creatures therein, a mike for collecting sounds inside the observation tank(10), an amplifier amplifying collected sounds, and a sound measuring part(20) including a sound receiving device to let the outside receive the amplified sounds. The sound receiving device includes a jack(21) for earphones or a speaker and a jack(22) of microphones for inputting outside sounds and a speaker for transmitting the input sounds to the inside. The bottom of the lower body is made of opaque resins and the rest part of the lower body is made of transparent acrylic acid resin.
