PURPOSE:To eliminate the entwining of an excessive-length part and to prevent an abnormal communication and the breaking of an optical fiber owing to unreasonable bending of the optical fiber when a tray is drawn out by providing a shelf by each tray and placing the excessive-length part of a drawn-out cord on this shelf. CONSTITUTION:The shelf 30 for excessive-length processing is provided adjacently to each tray 12. When the tray 12 is pushed in, the excessive-length part 26 of each optical fiber cord 20 is placed on the shelf 30. The shelf 30 is triangular on the whole and its center tip part is raised upward to form a wall 31 so that the optical fiber cord 20 does not fall from the shelf 30. Consequently, a slack of the drawn-out excessive length part 26 when the tray 12 is drawn out or inserted, exerts no influence on the excessive-length storage state in the tray 12 and the drawn-out excessive length 26 of expected length is formed on the excessive-length storage shelf 30. |
