PURPOSE: To reduce a space corresponding to an arbitrary peeling length and required for a peeling operation by supporting a pair of blades biting into the coating of a wire from both sides, means for switching the blades, and a heater for heating the blades integrally with a nozzle. CONSTITUTION: First, the rotation of a bobbin is stopped, a blades 7 are heated by a ceramic heater 9, the blades 7 are operated in its closing direction by driving an air chuck 8, and the blades 7 bite into a wire 12 by the thickness of a coating. When an arm 2 is moved upward in this state, the blades 7 mounted at sub-arms 2a and the wire 12 are relatively displaced. Since the blades 7 biting into the wire 12 are heated, an insulating coating in contact with the blades 7 is melted and peeled by the displacement. Since the wire 12 is always moved perpendicular to the blades 7 by ceramic rings 3, 4 and a guide pulley 5, the biting angle of the blades 7 to the wire 12 is always constant. |
