The invention relates to an emergency travel device for a vehicle. Said device comprises at least two segments (1, 2) that can be assembled to one wheel-like system with the shape of a circular arc or a circular disc and means for fastening the segments (1, 2) to the wheel rim (8) of a vehicle. The device is provided with a roll-on platform (3) that is formed by a part of the outer rim of a segment which tapers off along the tread circumference in the direction of the center of the circle of the system. The roll-on platform preferably takes the form of a curve or an arc. The emergency travel device is particularly suited to the requirements in the case of a puncture. It requires little space, is light-weight and can be mounted without using a jack. |
