A switch (10) for a urine guiding catheter which is used by being attached to a downstream side portion of a urine guiding catheter (A) and which opens or closes a urination tube (20); the catheter (A) being formed by integrating a urination tube (20), provided with an expanded diameter portion (B) on the upstream side thereof, with a fluid tube (19) through which fluid for expanding the expanded diameter portion (B) flows, and by having the fluid tube (19) branched from a downstream side portion thereof. The switch comprises a support frame (11) provided with a branch port (18) for side-tracking the fluid tube (19) branching from the middle of the catheter (A) and allowing the downstream side portion of the urination tube (20) to pass along the lower inner portion thereof, a turning operation member (30) provided with an operation lever (37) projecting from the upper portion thereof and a blocking arm (38) for pressing the urination tube (20) against the bottom plate (14) of the support frame (11), and locking means (31) capable of locking a blocked status of the urination tube (20) using the blocking arm (38) and, if necessary, resetting the locked status by operating a pressing operation member (49). |
