The invention concerns an injector comprising a body (1) wherein is mounted an injection tube (2) comprising a seat (3) opposite which is mounted, axially sliding in a sleeve (10), a closure element (5) driven in the closing direction by an elastic member (18) and in the opening direction by an electromotive apparatus (4) with variable air gap and whereof the armature is formed by the closure element. The air gap is defined between the closure element (5) and a ferromagnetic core (11) against which the closure element (5) is urged to stop in opening position. The closure element both in opening and in closing position is for the greater part located between the north and south surfaces of the solenoid (9), in closing position, the closure element (5) is pressed against a damping element (13) in the form of an elastic ring which is itself pressed against the seat (3) of the tube (2), said arrangement eliminating the drawbacks related to the kickback of the closure element. |
