Method of producing defoaming granulates

The invention relates to a method for producing silicone-containing defoaming granulates for solid detergents by simultaneous granulation and drying. The silicones are used in the form of aqueous emulsions and are sprayed onto an admixed preproduct consisting of carrier materials and optionally further defoaming agents at the same time as the mixture is granulated and dried, especially according to the so-called SKET method. The inventive method results in highly effective dedusted defoaming granulates with excellent pourability. The inventive defoaming granulates are therefore highly useful for utilization in solid detergents.
