A new defective adenovirus and process for producing said adenovirus

The present invention relates to a new defective adenovirus which partially lacks the coding sequence of natural adenovirus E1b 55kDa protein and the process for producing said adenovirus. Construct new recombinant defective adenovirus having an E1b 55kDa protein functional deletion by deletion mutation combining with inserting termination codon, but restrain the function of E1a, E1b, 19kDa protein and other viral protein. E1a and other viral protein of adenovirus presents benefits for anti-tumor use, therefore said defective adenovirus vector system can be used in theapying tumor.
