The invention concerns an insulating tubular complex (1) characterised in that it comprises: a flexible sheath (4) and an insulating material (5) confined under vacuum between the inner wall (6) and the outer wall (7) of said sheath (4), each of said walls (6, 7) consisting of a multilayer film (10) comprising at least a barrier layer (11), preferably a metallic film and at least a plastic layer (12), preferably thermoplastic, the opposite ends in the longitudinal direction XX' of said tubular complexes being formed by said inner and outer walls sealed against each other, preferably by bonding or heat welding, said insulating material being in the form of a tube or assembled tube arcs. The invention also concerns an insulated pipe and an assembly of two coaxial pipes comprising an inner pipe (3) and an outer pipe (2), preferably underwater pipes designed for great depths, and a method for making same. |
