PURPOSE: Disclosed are a removing method of nitric oxides (NO and NO2) using oxidation catalyst and an equipment thereof. The removing system is composed of a catalytic reactor, a semi-dry scrubber for reduction or neutralization of acidic gas, a filtering system, a blower, and a chimney. NO from the flue gas is oxidized to NO2 over the catalyst to be removed using a reductant. CONSTITUTION: The catalytic reactor (100) is linked continuously with the semi-dry scrubber (110), the filtering system (130), a blower (140), and a chimney (150) and these respective equipment are linked by duct (92). The reactor (100) contains a burner (90) as a subsidiary equipment to maintain reaction temperature at 150-700 deg.C and an oxidation catalyst to oxidize NO to NO2. Na2S or strong reductant is used as the reductant and NaOH or Ca(OH)2 as counteragent. These agents are simultaneously injected at the scrubber (110) to reduce NO2 to N2. An electric precipitator or a bagfilter are used as the filtering system (130) to filter nitrogen or chlorine from the scrubber (110). The blower (140) plays a role as a driving force to exhaust the filtered gas into the chimney (150).
